The Hell Creek 100 in Sylvan Grove, KS runs on the Switchgrass Mountain Bike Trail at Wilson State Park, an easy to follow rugged single track with very few trees and plentiful views of the park and Wilson Lake. Runners take on 20 mile loops, with one loop for 20 milers, three loops for 100k runners, and 5 loops for 100 milers. The trail is purely single track, with runners started away from the trailhead to spread out before it becomes 100 percent trail running.
