Witches in the Woods 5K/2K in Crown Point, IN is a night time run/walk to prove witches live in the Woods, through the trees and along the roads of the Fairgrounds at night with flashlights or headlamps, and finisher medals go to the first 200 to sign up. Entry includes free entry to the Hometown Hocus Pocus Market with the Sanderson Sisters of "Hocus Pocus" performing, awards for Top Overall and Top 3 finishers in each age group, Best Costume prizes, and strollers welcome with kids under 3 free. Sign-in runs 4:30 to 5:30p, costume contests and the National Anthem at 5:40 pm, the race starts at 6:00 pm, packet pickup is at 5:15 pm at the event, and no refunds or transfers after October 1st.
